Ferns Hideaway is a licensed caravan park

With a large open grassed area for your caravan to park Ferns is the perfect location to relax in the Australian wilderness on your journey through Queensland.

With hot and cold showers, a camp kitchen and social lounge 'The Trough and Trolley' and use of all our activities (bush walking, canoes, tennis, volleyball, pool and spa) you will have plenty to keep you occupied during your stay, or simply kick back and relax enjoying the ambience of the rainforest. You are welcome to have small open cooking fires at your site as long as there are no current fire bans in the local area.

The restaurant has lunch available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and dinner Saturday night with live music on weekends from our house musician Marto who plays requests from the 60s, 70s, 80s and onwards! During the winter months the '70's Sunday's' entertainment is a must for any of the Baby Boomers visiting our region. Live music, requests from your era and singing and dancing with Marto is assured.

If you require replenishments for your camp there is a local general store which opens daily just five minutes down the road and also supplies fuel.
